Minecraft | How To Reset Your World

Resetting your server's world is a simple process. Just follow the steps below:

  1. Stop your server.

  2. Delete your server's current world. There are two ways to do this:

    • First choice: Log into your Game panel, click on File Manager, select the world you want to delete, and click on the Delete button at the top.

    By default our minecraft servers worlds are named world, world_nether, world_the_end

    • Second choice: Access your server files using an FTP client and delete the world folder.

    note

    The deletion process may take some time depending on the world size.

  3. Once the world is deleted, start your server, and a new world will be generated in its place.

tip

If you want to change the seed of your world before generating a new one, follow these steps after deleting the old world

  1. In the Game panel, go to Configuration Files > server.properties.

    You can use a text editor or Configuration Editor for this step.

  2. Locate the Level Seed text box and enter your desired seed.

  1. Click "Save" at the top of the page.

  2. Start your server.
