Palworld | How to setup RCON for your server

1. Stop the server.

2. Click on configuration files.

3. Look for Pal\Saved\Config\WindowsServer\PalWorldSettings.ini and click on the Config Editor button.

4. Once inside the config editor look for the RCON Enabled? checkbox and click to check it.

You will also need to make sure that you have configured an admin password for your server. The admin password is also the RCON Password. Follow this guide on how to set your admin password

5. You can now start the server again.

How to Use RCON on Palworld Dedicated Server

The RCON commands can be executed through various methods:

Method 1: Using the Gamepanel's Built-in RCON Client

1. Go to Current Activity and Stats.
2. Select RCON Client.
3. Enter your RCON password in the password field and input the command you wish to execute.
4. The output will be displayed in the same window.

Method 2: Automating RCON Commands with Gamepanel's Scheduled Tasks System

1. Navigate to Scheduled Tasks on your server's Gamepanel home page.
2. Click New.
3. Change the Task Type to 'Console/RCON Command'.
4. Click the blue New button.
5. Enter your RCON Password into the RCON Password field.
6. Input the command you want to automate in the Command to Execute field.
7. Provide a name for the task.
8. Set the time period for the task to run.
9. Specify the date/time for the task to run.
10. Save the task in the top left.

Your task will now run automatically at the specified time/date without further interaction required.

Method 3: Utilizing an External Third-party RCON Client

1. Download and install a third-party RCON client such as mcrcon.
2. Connect to your server using the RCON Info provided on your server's Gamepanel home page.
3. Execute any RCON Commands you desire.
