Managing admins on your ARK: Survival Evolved server is an essential aspect of maintaining control and ensuring a smooth gameplay experience. By adding admins, you grant certain players administrative privileges, allowing them to perform special actions and maintain order within the game. Adding admins is a straightforward process that involves whitelisting players based on their Steam64 IDs. In this guide, we will walk you through the steps of adding admins to your server, providing you with the necessary tools to effectively manage and customize your ARK server environment.

  1. Log into your game control panel.
  2. Navigate to the Configuration Files section on the left-hand side.

  1. Click on Text Editor for the AllowedCheaterSteamIDs.txt file.

  1. Enter the SteamID64 of the player you want to add as an admin. You can obtain the SteamID64 using a tool like this link.

  2. If you need to add multiple admins, you can simply just add a new steam id to a new line.

  1. Click "Save & exit" to apply the changes.

  2. Restart your server for the changes to take effect.
